Dear Friends:
On behalf of ParentJobNet, it is my pleasure to announce the unveiling of our newly re-designed Web site www.parentjobnet.org. The new site boasts a much cleaner graphic user interface and users will now have access to features such as calendars of events that are integrated with Outlook and other scheduling software, integration with Google maps, built-in feeds for Twitter, Facebook and other social networking media. In addition, the new site incorporates a discussion board as part of its job posting feature. We believe that our newly created social networking media tools combined with our newly re-designed Web site will significantly expand our online presence and make our online tools easier to use by our constituents.
In addition to our online job posting and discussion forums, ParentJobNet’s Web site contains information about classes that the organization conducts in public schools on subjects that range from financial literacy to English as a second language. Classes, workshops, networking events, and other activities are sponsored by ParentJobNet and its partners, which include the New York Women’s Foundation, Consortium for Worker Education, Starbucks, TD Bank, JP Morgan Chase, and other business partners.
A special thanks to the New York Women’s Foundation for providing a technical assistance grant for the development of our web-based functionality; and to our partnerships with the Management and Information Technology Department (Prof. Israel Moskowitz, Dept. Chair, Prof. Myron Gould, and Kent Chen, Graduate Intern) of New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and the Center for Responsive Marketing, Inc., (crmnetwork.com) for providing the technical expertise to successfully complete this project.
Be sure to check out our social networking media tools, which our brilliant Website Manager, Tony Yao, recently created to give us greater exposure on-line. Feel free to follow us on Twitter for the latest news, become a fan on Facebook, and read our blog for informative commentary on today's issues.
Hope you enjoy your visit to our new site. We’d love to hear from you.

Best wishes,
Pat Craddick
