Our March 20, 2013 "Toot Your Own Horn" Networking Event at Starbucks was a huge success! Thanks to those who came out and tooted their horn!

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of ParentJobNet, I’d like to thank those of you who attended our "Toot Your Own Horn" Networking Event on March 20, 2013 hosted by Starbucks and facilitated by Connie Gemson, LMSW.   We were delighted to see so many of you come out to promote your services and network with each other.  Your high energy and enthusiasm were electrifying!  We hope you benefitted from this event and made some valuable connections.

Special thanks to Starbucks for their long-term support of our networking events.  It’s through partnerships like this that help sustain our programs and make a difference in people’s lives.

In addition, a very special thank you to our presenters: Patrisia Brisman, Stu Lahn, Aaron Glover, Belinda Jaime, Laurie Marshall, Delano Isaac, Tami Tyree, Garrett Ewald, Madeline Stone, Ari Mintz, Jillian Perlberg, Betasida Velez, and all of our other networkers.  We've collected your business cards in order to share your contact information with everyone who attended the event yesterday.  We encourage you to continue networking one-on-one with your colleagues in order to achieve your goals.

As a follow-up to one of the presentations, we'd like to encourage you to attend the Democratic Candidates Roundtable Lunch event on April 7, 2013 where you'll hear all the respective City Council Candidates in District 6, including ParentJobNet's Board Chair, Helen Rosenthal, speak about issues concerning our local community.  Please click here for more information.

If you wish to gain greater exposure for your services, please feel free to post your service information on our Parent-to-Parent Posting page on our website.

Should you have any suggestions for improving future events, please let us know.  We’d like your feedback on the evening.  Please take a few minutes and complete the evaluation form.

Once again, thank you for your participation in our networking event and for giving us the opportunity to serve you.  Please let us know if we could be of further assistance to you in achieving your goals.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.
